Responsibilities center on timely, high quality delivery of agreed-upon features and enhancements. This is achieved through the growing, coaching and scaling of our team:

• Drive the technical strategy, road map, and execution.
• Recruit/inspire/mentor a great team of talented engineers/support staff.
• Ensure the right technical resources and management are in place
• Execute on the strategic vision.
• Conceive, create, and deliver revolutionary products to help reshape our industry.
• Continue to enhance/architect our existing SaaS products.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product to drive growth.
• Identify technology trends that may support or impede the success of the business.
• Drive outside vendors/contractors to bring new products to market quickly.
• As a member of the executive team, work with VP Product and our CIO to deliver new products to market.
• Through a combination of personal experience and team development, arrive at enterprise-class technical architectures that support hundreds of thousands of transactions a day.
• Improve and reinforce our organizational structure to responsibly grow and scale the technology teams to over 75 people over the next 3 years.
• Bring tested methodologies and tools of iterative, asynchronous development to POS Portal.
• Upgrade our internal processes and protocol for quality assurance and risk management.

Contact us if you meet the following criteria. . .
• 15+ years of experience in Engineering Management, with reports totaling at least 50 people.
• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer in enterprise and web application software.
• Can roll up your sleeves and write great code.
• Proven ability to attract and retain engineering talent.
• Proven techniques of motivating and inspiring individuals as teams grow.
• Easily commands respect and loyalty through technical expertise and impressive work history.
• Are able to balance technology decisions against strategic business objectives.
• Natural inclination for detailed project management and measured allocation of time.
• Strong communication skills to relay initiatives to a variety of audiences – Excellent listener.
• Have a BS in Computer Science / MS or MBA degree.
