Transcriber / Report Writer

Probe Information Services, Inc. is a high-level investigation, anti-fraud and compliance firm conducting business throughout the 18 western states. We have been providing our superior investigative services to insurance companies, third-party administrators, and self-insurers since 1992. We are currently looking for a full time Transcriber / Report Writer to join our staff in our Citrus Heights office. The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Excellent writing skills
• Strong work and personal ethics
• Self-motivated and team oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Fast learner
• Type 50 WPM
• Competent w/computer applications: Windows XP, Outlook, Word, & Excel.

Duties will include but are not limited to: answering multiple telephone lines, typing reports, assembling reports, proof reading reports, reviewing files, records, and other documents in order to respond to requests for information, running database searches and assisting staff as necessary. Eighty percent of this position is typing dictations, proof reading them and editing them for content. This position transcribes the dictation provided by our employees, ensures that all the necessary information has been provided, follows up with the employee for missing information and then submits the dictation in a final format.

Pay range – $10-$12 $/hr DOE
Hours — early morning shifts of either 6:00 a.m. — 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. and an occasional Saturday.
