About the position
Reporting to the Social Media Lead and the Operations Director, the Social Media Assistant will be responsible for creating and driving online content for Sacpress and for our clients. You will be expected to understand the in’s and out’s of every social media platform we use and to be able to think strategically and apply that understanding.
You are the ideal candidate if you can work independently and as a team member, if you have the drive to go above and beyond what you’ve been asked, you are creative and love to write, you are "social", you are constantly exploring new possibilities, you are an excellent researcher and you are very responsible.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking information forwarded from Social Media Lead and creating write-ups
Monitoring social media accounts; customer service
Pushing events on all event sites and across all online communication channels
Gathering data and creating monthly reports for each client
Working with clients to meet their expectations
Photo and video editing
Livestreaming at local events
This is a part-time position. After a trial period, this will potentially be a full-time position.
