Looking for an agressive, entusiastic and persuasive Sales representative for the Bay Area and Sacramento market. A successful sales representative will be familiar with the construction industry, municipal markets and working with financial institutions. Ability to present bid/proposals, sales efforts to include but not limited to; cold-calling, mail-outs, follow-up calls, trade shows and more. The outside sales representative will be expected to visit a minimum of 14-16 customers each day. Expectations will also include equipment demonstrations. Represent the product lines to companies in many of our associations social events.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ Years outside sales experience (Construction or building products for all trades preferred)
Associated’s degree O.K. Bachelor’s Degree prefered OR have equivalent industry experience and knowledge of the local market
The ability to innovate, teamwork, detail, ambition and self-motivation.
A strong aptitude for sales and desire to earn salary plus commission.
Must possess a valid driver’s license (A preferred) with no major traffic violations. (Towing a trailer experience helpful)
Ability to lift 75 Pounds
Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and preparation of power point presentations.
Ability to meet and exceed established sales goal
Pass a drug and backgound test, and legally able to work in U.S.
