• The Academic Advantage offers in-home, one-on-one instruction as well as small group tutoring for students in grades K-12. We tutor all academic subjects including standardized test preparation. • We provide tutoring services to students via Government funded sources (State and Federal), as well as Private Pay Clients, who attend both private and public schools.

TRAINING COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct live training sessions

• Manage initial paperwork

• Assign students to new tutors

• Distribute wireless broadband cards (when appropriate)

• Coordinate with Corporate Office regarding paperwork submission and upholding policy in your area.

Tasks:

All Regional Training Coordinators will be responsible for conducting live New Tutor Orientations in their local area. The duties range from initial paperwork, to review of all district paperwork, to equipment distribution (if applicable), to student assignment. Typically, groups will be in the 10-12 range, however smaller districts will be 3-5 participants per session.

Coordinate with the Corporate Office for clearance information prior to student assignment. All tutors must have a background check conducted via LiveScan. Clearance must be received before student information can be handed out. The clearance information is verified by a member of the Tutor Recruitment team, and will be made available to you prior to each session.

Sessions will be conducted at a local conference space, and arranged by the Corporate Office. We will coordinate the schedule with you, then take it from there. We will ship all necessary resources to you, and provide postage to return all un-used item and related paperwork.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

• A reliable personal automobile

• Consistent Internet access

• Pass criminal background check

• Bachelors Degree or Higher

COMPENSATION:

Training Rates/Hours:

• $16.00 per hour for all training sessions

• Most training sessions are 4 hours

Coverage Areas:

• SF Area: Greater San Francisco Area, from San Jose (covering both sides of the bay) to Vallejo, and out to the Fairfield/Suisun Area

• Sacramento Area: Greater Sacramento Area, from Rocklin through Elk Grove, down through Lodi, and into the Modesto Area

• Central Valley: Bakersfield to Turlock. Basically all school districts up the 99

• San Diego Area: Oceanside to the Mexico border and east to La Mesa/Spring Valley and El Cajon. Also includes El Centro and Calexico (if students available)

• Inland Empire: San Bernardino County, Riverside County (including the Desert Area, out to Coachella and Salton City), plus Victorville
