We’re Looking for an Experienced Exam Room Veterinary Assistant!

Position: Exam Room Veterinary Assistant
Hours: 9am-1pm M-F
Pay: $9-11 (depending on experience)
Requirements: Previous experience working as a veterinary assistant, excellent communication skills, ability to pass a background check, ability to do the following:

Go into exam rooms to get patient history from owners, answer client questions about procedures and medications, draw blood, TPR, assist the doctors and technicians with procedures, answer telephones, enter patient information into the computer system. The veterinary assistant needs to have experience in: venipuncture, IV catheter placement, vaccine schedule and administration, restraint, and have adequate knowledge of veterinary medications.
