A small Sacramento law firm is looking for a full-time paralegal with 5+ years experience. This firm is involved in personal injury, nursing home abuse, wage and hour, and class-action cases for plaintiffs. The firm is looking for an experienced, hard working paralegal. Candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of Word, type at least 75 wpm, and possess excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills, summarize medical records, excellent phone skills, excellent research, writing and litigation skills, be efficient, and possess a positive attitude. The applicant must be familiar with Abacus, Summation, Power Point, Legal Solutions and Westlaw. Working knowledge of both federal and state court rules is required. Must be able to work independently, have the ability to multi-task, have excellent attention to detail, and be a team player. Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
