Leave of Absence Coordinator (HR Associate III)

  • Raley’s is looking for an experienced Leave of Absence Coordinator with working knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and California Family Rights Act (CFRA).     Key responsibilities:

  • Administers leave of absence program(s).
  • Maintains leave of absence documentation, files and data.
  • Compiles employee data and submits information to EDD regarding State
    Disability and Paid Family Leave.
  • Monitors and tracks leaves of absences and follows up on required paperwork such as medical certifications, requests for extended leaves, and other required information.
  • Maintains contact with employees on leave to monitor progress and prompt
    return to work date. Works with managers and Human Resources to monitor
    leaves and keep them informed.

    Key qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D plus 3-5 years of experience administering leaves of absence
  • Bachelor’s degree desirable
  • Working knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements related to
    leaves of absence, including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and California
    Family Rights Act (CFRA)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to develop and adapt procedures and processes
  • Detail oriented
