    Position Summary
    The Interactive Developer is a mid-level position best suited for a strong team player who is detail-oriented, able to work independently, organized, and technically skilled.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The Interactive Developer provides in-house multimedia and web development capabilities and meets the digital needs of the marketing department and other departments on an as-needed basis. This individual must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others to resolve issues while working closely with team members. Projects include web graphics, animations & ads, email campaigns, 2D & 3D product renderings & animations, interactive CDs & DVDs.

    Primary job functions include:

    • Develop and implement web-based advertisements and HTML email campaigns.
    • Work with the marketing team to execute strategies and campaigns.
    • Create and maintain multimedia materials for marketing efforts, including but not limited to web ads & emails, product renderings & animations, CDs, and DVDs.
    • Assist in the creation of specialized digital materials for trade shows and other events.
    • Create web documents outside of a WYSIWYG software environment. (Hand-code HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, Java-Script)
    • Prepare digital/web-based files per vendor specs.

    Education and Experience
    • A bachelors’ degree in Digital Media, or equivalent, from a four-year college or university is preferred, with 2 to 4 years experience in a multimedia design position. Must be a disciplined designer with expert digital skills that can produce work within the scope of the company brand, with a quality design process and aesthetic.

    Qualifications

    • Expert knowledge of web-based communication & design. (E-mail, Mobile Devices, Online Advertising, etc.)
    • Knowledge of marketing concepts including brand management and corporate identity.
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Working experience with mobile-friendly digital content.
    • Strong grasp of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
    • Write clean code using primarily HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSP
    • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in the English language is required. German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
    • Expert in all commonly used software & languages for multimedia and web design. (Illustrator, Cinema 4D, DreamWeaver (HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Java-Script), Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to illustrate and communicate visual ideas.
    • Ability to work individually and as a team.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
    • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
    • Ability to communicate technically with vendors and partners.
