Position Summary

Under the direction of the Branch Manager you will be responsible for assisting customers and stocking merchandise of the store to ensure efficient, economical and reliable service to customers, and performs related duties as assigned.

We value customer focus and this position will ensure the distribution center maintains a positive impact on all customers. This position will also handle customer inquiries concerning material shortages, providing customers with same-day status updates, and handle all transactions of counter sales.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED. One year of college education is preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills, the ability to input data accurately into system and operate a cash register or electronic calculator by touch.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, good telephone etiquette and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
• Minimum 6 months experience as counter sales person preferred.
• Experience in building trades industry is preferred.
