Hawks Restaurant, an award-winning fine dining restaurant in Granite Bay, CA, is seeking candidates for the Host position. This is a part-time position. The Host is responsible for providing unparallelled customer service to all guests of the restaurant. As the host, you are the point of contact for our guests on the phone, and the first person our guests see when they arrive at the restaurant – your position is critically important. The Host answers the phone, takes reservations, greets arriving guests, escorts them to their tables, and is responsible for communicating with the staff as to how the dining room should be set, and then checking the setup. The Host must follow company policies and procedures on a consistent basis. A professional appearance and decorum must be kept at all times. The requirements/functions of the position may change over the course of employment. OpenTable experience and the ability to run the floor and make organizational changes on the fly is a plus.
