“Cognition” Casting Call for Voice-Over Talent

Phoenix Online Studios is currently seeking talent for their upcoming game, “Cognition,” which will be
released on PC, Mac and iPad.
Cognition centers around Erica Reed, a Boston FBI agent with the power to see the past, as she follows
the trail of four different serial killers, and a series of clues left for someone with her specific ability.
Who’s leaving the clues, how do they know her secret, and what do they want from her?

Roles:
Erica Reed — Female. Early 30’s. Looking for a character similar to Anna Torv as Olivia Dunham in the
television show “Fringe.” But being from Boston, she has a slight accent and an attitude similar to
Eliza Dushku (also Boston-born).
Male. Mid 20’s. Young voice.
John McCoy — Male. Late 40’s/early 50’s. Erica’s partner. He is a bit out of shape, and a heavy cigar
smoker. McCoy’s an old salt of the department–a veteran who knows his business. He can be
sarcastic and a joker, but it’s not unkind.
Female. Early-mid 30’s. Smooth mature voice. She has a voice that is at once innocent and yet
alluring.
Female. 30’s — 50’s. Black or Latino. Director of the Boston branch of the FBI, in charge of handing
out Erica and John’s cases. She is very by-the-book and has a very strong moral code. She is a strong
woman but very fair.
Male. Late 20’s. A Boston-born, Southie boy born and raised. Charming, good-humored and sounds
like he’s out of Good Will Hunting. Also an FBI agent.
Female. 50’s — 60’s. Originally from Haiti, she’s both sage and a little sassy, a believer in the mystical
and quite knowledgeable about it as well. Runs an eclectic antique shop.
40’s. A once well-off man who’s fallen on hard times.
Female. 30’s. A pleasant woman, loving, but dealing with depression.
Male. Mid-20’s. A little socially awkward and nervous.
Male. Late 20’s/early 30’s. A charismatic, well-spoken man.
Female. 20’s. Friendly department admin & evidence clerk.
Female. 40’s. The Coroner working with the FBI. Brusque, business-like, not very social.
Male. 20’s — 40’s. The forensics man and IT guru, Terence is a friendly guy, smart, but definitely not a
field agent.
Male. 20s to 30s. Police Officer

We are currently scheduling auditions for Saturday, February 11, at the Sutter Street Theater in Folsom.
