Company Description: A fast growing natural and holistic pet food company who is a leader in nutritious raw frozen diets, kibble, cans, and treats for dogs and cats.

Position Summary: This role will help support and ensure the execution of key retail sales driving initiatives for Nature’s Variety, in Petco locations across the city. Part time position with an estimated 60-80 per month, divided between store visits and trainings and in-store demonstrations. Store visits and trainings will occur during week days, and in-store demonstrations will primarily be on Saturday and Sundays.

Primary Job Responsibilities
• Visit Petco stores and meet with managers and key staff members
• Conduct staff trainings and product education seminars
• Conduct demonstrations of Nature’s Variety products at select key accounts, primarily on Saturdays
• Educate consumers on Nature’s Variety products and health benefits, anticipate and overcome objections
• Drive trial and awareness of Nature’s Variety
• Be the Nature’s Variety expert for store managers and sales associates, building relationships and alliances
• Check in with the manager on duty immediately upon arriving to see if there are any specific instructions for the day
• Follow up after each demonstration, providing reports and feedback to your Retail Execution Manager
• Partner with your Retail Execution Manger to measure results and execution, ensuring a positive ROI
• Ensure that all retail locations you service are well equipped with the necessary tools and resources to optimize all key product and marketing strategies
• Review and make adjustments to Nature’s Variety in-store product and displays, to ensure all stores have proper Nature’s Variety presentations
• Rotate all inventory on shelf, based on best by dates
• Continually strive to improve selling skills and pet food knowledge
• Have friendly, positive and informative interactions with customers

Preferred Experience
• Retail execution experience preferred
• Past experience presenting in front of groups and facilitating training programs
• Experience in retail environments interfacing with end consumers

Travel Requirements:
• Must have reliable transportation

• Compensation: $13-$15 per hour depending on experience
