Busy law firm seeks a cheerful, energetic, competent, outgoing, personable and capable part time office assistant who can follow instructions, can multi task and who has AT LEAST ONE YEAR prior professional OFFICE experience, preferably in a law firm setting, to assist with office and client responsibilities. Position will involve assisting clients with scheduling consultations, turning in paperwork, accepting payments, maintaining and keeping organized law firms incoming paperwork, mail, and faxes, etc. Must be able to multi-task, keep on track and prioritize. This is an entry level position, is part time and temporary for a period of 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity with a law firm that offers great upward mobility potential. At the end of the three months there is the possibility depending on the firms workload at that time that the job may be extended beyond the three month initial period.

We are a friendly office and are looking for a personable capable office assistant. Will be mostly responsible for administrative functions such as phone duties, answering client questions, assisting attorneys, returning client calls, filing, client correspondence, calendaring, billing etc. This is an extremely busy law firm and the ideal candidate will thrive in such an environment, the ability to multi-task and keep to deadlines is critical as is attention to detail and the ability to time manage effectively. The fast paced environment makes the day fly by and the people working around you are fun to work with.
MUST BE CONFIDENT, TECHNOLOGY SAVVY, GREAT WITH COMPUTERS AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT, TYPE AT LEAST 50 WPM, DETAIL ORIENTED, FRIENDLY AND PERSONABLE.

Qualifications:
- Prior office experience preferred, at least 1 year
- Must be proficient with all modern office equipment such as scanners, fax machines, computers and phones, experience with electronic file management important
- If you can speak more than one language please indicate in your cover letter which language(s) and level of fluency.
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Detail oriented and organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word and Outlook
- Ability to multi task and follow given directions.
- Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently and as a team
